Kellie Martin is an American actress in television, film and stage actress. Her most notable role is Christy Huddleston (Christy) as part of the period show Christy'; Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On) in Life Goes On; and Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". In addition, she is well-known as the lead in the Hailey Dean Mystery television series. Martin's acting career started at age 7 when an aunt, the former nanny who took care her children Michael Landon, helped secure a spot as a special guest in 1982's 'Father Murphy.' Following after her Yale University graduation, she focused on acting. She was able to get major roles on both cinema and television. Martin, besides acting, she is also an accomplished photographer and ballet dancer. Her sister who passed away due to Lupus at the age of 19, was the inspiration behind her becoming the Lupus national spokesperson.
